Refund Policy

Discovery Phase

The Discovery Phase is an initial consultation and research period where we analyze your project requirements, market landscape, technical feasibility, and provide a detailed project roadmap and proposal.

Refund terms for the Discovery Phase:

• 50% of the Discovery Phase fee is refundable if cancellation is requested within 14 days of payment and before any work has commenced.
• Once research, analysis, or consulting deliverables have been shared with the client, the full Discovery Phase fee is considered earned and non-refundable.
• If RedGobble is unable to deliver the agreed Discovery Phase deliverables, a full refund will be issued.

Development Work

For custom development projects (web, mobile, AI, or software), refund terms are based on milestone completion:

• No refund after a milestone has been approved by the client. Each approved milestone is considered work completed and accepted.
• Prorated credit may be issued for incomplete milestones if the client terminates the project for cause (e.g., RedGobble fails to deliver within agreed timelines).
• Fixed-price projects: The deposit (typically 50%) is non-refundable after work begins. The remaining balance is due upon milestone completion.
• Hourly/retainer projects: Unused hours may be refunded or credited toward future work, at RedGobble's discretion.

Subscription Services

For SaaS products, maintenance retainers, and support subscriptions:

• Monthly subscriptions: You may cancel at any time. No refund will be issued for the current billing period. Service will continue until the end of the paid period.
• Annual subscriptions: If cancelled within 30 days of purchase, a full refund minus a 10% processing fee will be issued. After 30 days, a prorated refund for remaining months may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Subscription upgrades/downgrades: Upgrades are prorated immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle with no retroactive refund.

Custom Software

Custom software development projects are subject to the following refund conditions:

• No refund once development of custom features has begun.
• If a project is cancelled before development begins but after the Discovery Phase, the client forfeits only the Discovery Phase fee.
• If a project is cancelled during development, the client must pay for all work completed up to the date of cancellation. Completed work products will be delivered to the client upon full payment of outstanding invoices.
• Source code for work completed up to cancellation will be provided, subject to payment for that work.

Cancellation Conditions

To cancel a project or service, the following conditions apply:

• Cancellation notice must be submitted in writing via email to redgobble.contact@gmail.com.
• The cancellation is effective upon written confirmation from RedGobble.
• The client is responsible for payment of all work completed up to the effective cancellation date.
• Projects cancelled due to a material breach by RedGobble (e.g., failure to deliver within agreed timelines without valid reason) may qualify for a full or partial refund at RedGobble's discretion.
• RedGobble reserves the right to cancel any project with 7 days notice if the client fails to meet their obligations, including but not limited to timely feedback, asset delivery, or payment.

Non-Refundable Services

The following items and services are non-refundable under any circumstances:

• Domain name registrations and renewals.
• SSL certificate purchases and installations.
• Third-party software licenses, API subscriptions, and service fees.
• Setup fees and onboarding charges.
• Consulting hours and advisory sessions already delivered.
• Express delivery or expedited service fees.
• Third-party costs incurred on behalf of the client (e.g., hosting setup, CDN configuration, design asset purchases).
• Any services explicitly marked as non-refundable in the project proposal or agreement.

Partial Refund Cases

Partial refunds may be considered in the following scenarios:

• Project cancellation before work begins: If a project is cancelled after the Discovery Phase but before development starts, the client may receive a refund of the deposit minus a 10% processing fee and the Discovery Phase fee.
• Service unavailability: If hosted services experience cumulative downtime exceeding the SLA commitment in a given month, a prorated service credit may be issued.
• Hardship cases: Exceptional circumstances will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We strive to be fair and reasonable in all refund decisions.

All partial refund decisions are at the sole discretion of RedGobble and will be communicated in writing within 10 business days of the refund request.

Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, please follow this procedure:

1. Send an email to redgobble.contact@gmail.com with the subject line “Refund Request: [Project Name].”
2. Include your full name, project details, invoice number (if applicable), and a detailed reason for the refund request.
3. Our team will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days.
4. We will review your request and respond within 5 business days with a decision.
5. If approved, the refund will be processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.

Refunds will be issued in the same currency and payment method used for the original transaction. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.
